Does anyone have suggestions for some good headphones, and by good I mean I can put them on and not hear a damn thing, like the 5 year old hyper active kid that literally runs, stomps, jumps off furniture all freaking day making my ceilings crack, windows rattle, dishes shake. It's only during the day when the babysitter is there. So nerve racking and startles me a lot and hard to concentrate on turking. So earplugs and a set of good headphones that I cannot hear that would be cool. I know its hard to control a hyper energetic kid, but as soon as the parents get home it stops, or is not nearly as bad. My nerves are shot.

I didn't realize this was a thing. I appreciate the info
I had never heard of it before then tbh. But as soon as he pointed it out it was very apparent and I felt stupid for having never noticed something looked off. But in my defence, the tongue is likely not an area most parents are checking out very often.

Sisters are just difficult, I get along better with my brothers. (Now and when we were kids) Except the Monster, but she's different because of the age difference.
my sister and I are 5 years apart, we despised each other until a year or 2 after she moved out

My 16 yo will argue with the littles, 6 years younger. How in the hell is that even possible???At 16 kids that age were my bread and butter, but they argue like they owe each other money.

Me and 1sister are 3ish years apart. When I went to stay with her on my vacation I thought we were getting along and then I remembered why we didn't get along. She's best taken in small doses. (me and Monster are 19 years apart >.> A lot easier to deal with most of the time cause I can just go I'M THE ADULT, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME.)

edit: I will ramble all day long if it means I can avoid working.

I should add about the geographic tongue thing that my daughters ended up being from hypothyroidism and not absorbing B12 properly, but it was 10 years between the tongue Dx and the thyroid. however, it can have many causes, is an inflammatory response to internal or external factors, is not contagious, and even be temporary in some people. So, if foods are tasting different to you or your kids will only eat 3 diferent foods all of the sudden, give your tongues a look see, the more you know, there you go.

but I do understand, I have a hyper kid upstairs right now jumping, running, bouncing, throwing, killing something and screaming. I just play my music loud or I turn my amp to 11 and let some distortion and feedback ring for a bit, I do this late at night too when the parent is there, trying to maybe make them understand

Do VDX or 5's still post?
VDX has been dead in the water for a long time.
The last 3 or 4 weeks the 5s work load has diminished quite a bit but they've done this before.
Would love to see them show up right now to save me from Brian.
