When I'm working on a site that does not explicitly log my work time, in an easy to find way, such as Prolific,

I'll pop up another browser tab [Usually Chrome if I'm Mturkin'], type "stopwatch" in the address bar.

Google pops up a timer. You click Start, then tab back to the study/work browser window.

The Stopwatch tab - puts the time, in the upper tab, so you can see your time live, while working in another browser window tab. Right at the top.
