You guys should jut go blow all your money in wrigleyville instead . This is usually the big bang that starts the season at my other job (bike taxi company), but I have a feeling it's gonna be a bit disappointing this year. There's only like 3 people working tonight out of the 20 something cabs we have...

I used to do that kinda thing when I was younger. My buddy worked at the Cubby Bear back when so I practically lived there. I leave all that to the youngins now. I still like loud music but not the crowds.

There is hardly anything going on for st pats in Chicago today/tomorrow. I don't get it. I'm pretty sure the city schedules the parade and family festivities a week ahead of time to avoid conflicts with the drunken madness of traditional st pats and give people a chance to enjoy both, but apparently the party promoters haven't caught on.

Edit I should have said more about how Chicago is on the look out for drinking people durring this time in general , not just at the parade. So lees pub crawls and things go on. And the ban of booze on the trains to and from the burbs makes less people go there.

Yeah I know, it used to be insane there. Now that madness has mostly migrated to the bar crawls and other festivities which is great imo, Parades should be a family thing not a chance to prove you're the drunkest lunatic in the city.
