If you're on Facebook, i've been seeing a lot of local groups in my area and my parents city that are for helping neighbours out with things like this. We have both a church and a group of people here who are giving away diapers and baby wipes to parents in need (and they do a porch drop off, which is thoughtful). Also places that are letting elderly, vets and moms into stores early. Ask around facebook or community groups, there are some amazing people out there right now!

A few of the crazy couponers that had huge stockpiles just donated to our food pantry as well. Hope you find some!

I'm a couponer with a focus on prepping, so luckily I don't have to go to the grocery for a bare minimum of 8 weeks right now at least when it comes to food. I'm in my early 30's but also higher-risk due to asthma and sleep apena, so I always have at least two months of food and paper supplies on hand at all times.

While I'm happy that most stores are limiting people to 2 or 3 of certain categories, I worry that means elderly and/or medically higher risk people will have to make more frequent trips due to the limits.

edit: typo

Kroger having special Senior hour on monday, wednesday, friday here from 7am to 8am (seniors 60 and older).

I'm too young but trying to convince dad to go so he can try to get us softsoap, gallon bleach, disinfectant wipes or even 70% isopropyl alcohol for the first time in weeks. i suppose when the store opens at 7am, it'll be the most stocked it gets so he'll have the best chance to get any of those things.

Now, today, after all the mess with the Mayor yesterday, the Governor is set to announce the closure of all non-essential businesses including casinos statewide. The deadline is supposed to be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. I think my County had 4 more cases diagnosed today.
[edit] All gaming machines (despite location) are to be shut down by midnight tonight. All non-essential business shut down by noon tomorrow at the latest.

Oh, I'm right there with ya. I am a prepper, but more because I have an addiction to apocalypse books and movies. I should have picked an adjective other than "crazy", because I didn't mean it in a derogatory way. I should have said mega couponers, if that makes sense.

All I know is that in this city, with a very high elderly population, the stores, churches (even for us atheists and agnostics) and local community groups have been amazing. They are delivering meals, diapers, groceries, necessities. It's been amazing to see. And I'm not in a small city (Pittsburgh) so it really surprised me!
