Depends where he lives. In NY 250-300 is about average for an ounce of high quality.

I used to run a dispensary in Vegas back in the days when dispensaries were a gray area. We would buy a half pound total of mixed strains from a source when we were low. Price would range between $125-$150/oz our cost depending on quality (obviously everything was awesome, just some was more awesome).

Talk about a fun job.
