I know @thedorchannel mentions them a lot..I think? well last child starts school in August, I wondered what the heck I was going to do with all that darn quiet. Now I know. Funny thing is, when i had my first four (and assumed I was done) and was so looking forward to the last one in school, but it was really kind of awful.

I joined their site 2 years ago and I haven't gotten a single test.

I've been getting a lot from usertesting.com in the past few months though... (like 3-5 of the $10.00 tests a day) its literally the best thing thats ever happened to me... and its why I don't turk nearly as much as I used to.

I'm trying to figure out how UserTesting works now. Is it a matter of signing up and then applying to be a tester, or can I just be a tester straight away?

almost every site has you do a test video first to see if you qualify. Try to do REALLY well, because they seem to be getting more picky about who they accept. Almost every site has some example of the perfect test somewhere (either on the site or on youtube). Look at it and study it for what they want.

The main 4 usertesting sites I use are Usertesting.com, Intellizoom, validately, and userlytics.

I'm always looking for more.

they send you the payment via paypal.

most tests are 10.00 for 15 minutes. most pay you around a week after you take the test.
