My puppy ate a spider the other day. I don't know whether to be glad there's one less spider in the world, or terrified because, technically, she's now part spider.

Do you live on some sort of Spider Hellmouth? I've seen maybe like 3 spiders in the past year.

Yes. I took a picture of the Demon Spider gatekeeper and her mate, but I lost it.

I had a thought, does chrome load and render parts of the screen if not needed.

I noticed that a lot of lag times on PFA are because it is loading the entire satellite picture,and uploading your answer at the same time.

Well I decided to try to lower the screen size and see if chrome would render the picture faster because the entire page was not needed,and I think it does. I took the screen out of full screen mode and noticed that the screens were in fact loading much faster. Then I opened it back up to full screen and noticed with it loading the entire screen again it was taking much longer.

This may just be a fluke and they were just loading faster at the time but I do not think so. Just a test maybe it will help with the loading and stopping that are making these HITS a problem.

i live in the woods. we have some monstrous scary fuckers. We kill 5+ a day in the summer. 2 feet of snow is keeping them at bay right now

During the Winter the spiders are all probably hiding in between your clothes and under your bed to keep warm and cozy, and then in the Spring they come out to say hello! But they miss you so much, that even now that it's warm they snuggle up right next to your face as you're sleeping.

For every spider you kill, 2 more appear in its place.

I could be wrong.

PFA uses lazy loading and multiple images. So if you browser zoomed on that, it may load faster too.
