That's what I did, when that happens I've just been submitting the HIT with 123456 as the code and haven't gotten a rejection from it yet, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't and anomaly, thanks for clarifying.

The safest bet is to always submit with your worker ID and send the requester a message if you don't receive a code. 123456 might look like you're trying to scam. Also, this one specifically said to submit with your worker ID so always double check that if you don't get a code.
