Really 4 weeks!!!!!!! The panic buying locally didn't start here until the day the President issued his guidelines and the same day the Governor then the Governor did the same and that's been a few days shy of 2 weeks. Up through last week I could still find single rolls here and there and I tried not to be a pig but now this week I'm starting to worry that this shortage may be a long-lasting one.I felt like i won the lottery when i found a bottle of softsoap last week in the darkness of the shelves.
as to tp, who would have figured a ww2 soldier in his mre would get a packet of tp and i haven't been able to buy tp or paper towels in my store in 4 weeks!

I want you to know I disapprove of hoarding but I am seriously considering getting up early and buying another 4 pack of tp tomorrow morning (they were about a 1/2 short of closing when I bought mine this evening). i was a moron on disposible clorox wipes. saw a news story about the bacteria in reusable bags and bought some wipes to clean my bags. chose 1 can of wipes instead of the 3 pack because i asked myself do i need a 3-pack. next week no wipes and been that way ever since so i should have bought the 3 pack.
tp - governor and mayor say no need to hoard, newspaper story cites tp manufacturer says there are no shortages and plenty of tp to go around, but shelves bare so someone is lying -- people who claim they are not hoarding or the tp industry for claiming no product shortages.
