Some good things there but I feel like they put too many things as $5 when they should be $2-3.
Always leave there with like $50 of Chinese plastic that ends up in the trash within a month.

Best thing is that they will have some good video games from time to time.

this ones weird. it's not dollar tree. it's just called 99 cents only. with stuff that can cost up to $10. quite funny.

I :heart: the 99 cents only store. You can't count on a consistent stock of everything, but there are usually some great bargains there. Most of it does cost 99.99 cents ($1) or less. Some of the bigger toys and home/outdoors stuff can cost up to $10.

Re: Dollar store discussion...I'm in Maine, and there's always a dollar tree, family dollar, and as of this past year, dollar general, somewhere near by. The dollar generals have been popping up in the weirdest little towns in Maine, it's the strangest thing...Also, we have Marden's, and if you haven't visited Marden's, you don't know what you're missing! As they say, "I should have bought it, when I saw it, at Marden's!"

Don't remember when (6-7?) east coast but yes their was a early evening rush as everyone was predicting the end.

What would you do if you said that your kid and he proceeded to either go "fine I'm leaving" which actually doesn't bother me..or proceeded to do inane stupid shit like threaten to beat up his siblings or smash your items with a hammer.

The kid doesn't deal in reality and honestly neither does his dad. They both have a superiority complex like they are royalty and everyone is beneath them.

My kid is under 18 so I have different options than you do. But in your case? I would kick him out. No way would an adult stay in my house after threatening violence like that.
