if the pay is fair without the bonus maybe a 3-4 and mention in the review that they didn't pay the bonus. if the pay sucks and you only did it cause the bonus 1-2

if they promise a bonus and you did whatever you needed to do to earn it then I don't see why you shouldn't get it. Requesters shouldn't be able to get away with paying less by promising a bonus they don't intend to pay.

IDK, a bonus is a guarantee if they said it was part of the job (and you met the requirements). It's part of the contract (legally speaking). If this were real life, it would be breach of contract - or stealing. And unfair. I would leave a strongly worked note on TO that they did not honor their agreement.

Yeah it's disappointing. I think I'm getting numb to it because it happens a lot. I emailed him again so we will see. Thanks for the advice
