I'd say its less about working in hazardous conditions and more about being something society needs that is underappreciated. I mean, customer service employees that work from home aren't in a dangerous position.
I usually do some work on Wonolo too (more gig stuff), and they have actually started sending out some money based on your average income each week. They arent the ones that pay the gigs, but since its their platform, they have been trying to help their gig workers.

Various things, but they are real world "hits". Like to go merchandise a store, work at a theater, etc.. They pay really well most of the time. I usually do the restock jobs for driveline. They pay around $100-120 per day.
