If you go now, they are going to maybe give you some nitro tabs and send you on your way. However if the chest pain comes back I would for sure go, that's not something to typically mess around with.

Oh, my gosh. That doesn't sound like something you should ignore. I mean, it's great that you got it to go away and I know the ER is a pain, but there's a reason for pain. I don't know you at all, but I hope you take care of yourself. I like to ignore stuff and just hope it'll go away, but this seems like too much to just dismiss. Hopefully I'll be wrong. Better to nip it in the bud in case.

I don't know your medical diagnosis if you know what would typically cause this, but if that is abnormal I would go. My husband went to the ER with chest pain back in November and ended up having to be admitted and had a procedure done where they removed an extra pathway in his heart that was causing him to have an irregular heart beat. So that's probably not something to mess around with too much.
