And, I suppose all based on perspective, that may be completely okay for some people. I shouldn't have actually been so quick to associate that decision with a lack of intelligence. Just because it is not a choice that I would find wise to make, does not mean that everyone else will think that way...and there's nothing wrong with that, if that's what they want to do.
