percolator at my inlaws

french press, pour over, espresso at home. Sometimes we do a stovetop perc but only when I'm feelin real sassy.
According to my percolator, I drink 25 cups a day, but those have to be some seriously wimpy cups IMO.

My method depends on how tired/fancy-feeling/pressed for time I am.
I make my mommy her pod coffee. Sometimes I'll just make the carafe and share.
But I also love the different tastes I have at my disposal just by using my French press, Aeropress (that my Boo Vany got me <3 ) pour-over, cold brew pitcher, and sometimes I'll add some instant to some hot cocoa b/c yolo.
We also have 837 kinds of teas. We're a beverage family lmao

I drink instant coffee more than anything else right now. Not that I think it's actually good, but I dump enough stuff in there that's it's drinkable, and it's fast/convenient.

Imo American instant coffee is trash compared to a lot of places where less people have their own coffee making appliances. There is some Vietnamese instant coffee that is actually pretty decent.

I don't understand the hate on instant TBH. Just like other coffee, there's trash, and there's good stuff. Just taste them and buy what you can drink. Hell, we use a "generic" in this house b/c it isn't disgusting.
It's not like, fake coffee or anything. It's just freeze-dried.

Fair warning, Don't go anywhere that you would be out of coffee or tea for 2 days, things will get really ugly and probably violent.
I've been drinking it since I was a kid, and go on and off so much that I don't freak out. I just get headaches. There have been times in my life that "only the necessities" included NO COFFEE. I can go about 3-4 days. Maybe it's b/c I also drink so much water?

I always drank instant all day except one pot of brewed coffee in the evenings in the UK, but I've failed to find any good tasting instants here and have resorted to a french press all the time. I wish I could get Kenco Millicano here. Sigh
