She didn't just randomly call her a whore, the actions that were allowing her to get away with abusing people is pertinent to the name.
There is nothing un-civilized about calling someone out who is actually harming people.

Does anyone do HITs on their phone? I'm sitting at the hospital for a few hours for tests today and I'm wondering if it's worth it to try to get some work in.

I've done it every once in a while. I figured $.50 or $1 is better than nothing.

Most surveys are relatively mobile friendly (unless they specifically say no, obviously).

Oh, I wanted to. But the police station is hooked to them and I figured I'd just go to jail. My husband would have had a hard time though, especially it being a woman...he probably would have melted.

Nothing's up specifically, they're just being super cautious. Ultrasounds twice a week now, and non stress tests once a week. Thursdays are my day when the tests all line up, as well as my weekly appointment with my midwife, so I get to hang out in a lot of waiting rooms

I'm sure not the popular opinion around here but you could have handled that better and are dealing with consequences as a result. Keep calm and tell her that her thoughts on the matter are not welcome as she doesn't understand the situation. Her being bitchy shouldn't justify abusive treatment of her. Deal with it and express your grievances to her supervisor.

I could have, hence returning and telling her so. but once you apologize and someone continues to belittle you and you want to explode, that is when it is too much. I'm a sociual worker and I deal with being called everything on the regular, but those are clients and people who I serve. She works for me, through my taxes to the city, and she has no right to speak as she did either.
