Woke up today thinking, "This is it! Gonna be a money day! Has to be!" and then mturk did the thing it's been doing all week. Given that my roommate is officially on week two of no job, I started to panic a bit. Then I said, "Wait, no. Mturk is like a cat, so treat it thusly" and decided to piddlefart around with my plants instead and pretend like I didn't care.

This...this did not work. I feel like I have two choices now: start filling out online apps for "normal people jobs" or roll around on the floor. I think I'll do both, to keep me from the looney bin. Whatever keeps me from another round of homelessness, I suppose..

I like the rolling around on the floor option. Can I do that too?

Yes! I don't know how/why it works, but when I get really stressed, I wrap a blanket around me and roll and it makes me feel less crazy, even though it makes me look more crazy. Balance, yo.
