Was this a 60 cent screener? I didn't qualify but got a completion code...

So that came back and bit me. I got a rejection with the reason "User error; Did not qualify".

I sent them a msg that will probably not result in anything, but it felt good to be snarky:
"The rejection of "user error" is inaccurate and should actually be requester error.

After answering several questions, I was directed to a page that had a message at the top stating: Thank you for participating, but you do not qualify at this time. Yet further down on the SAME page, there was other text saying: Thank you for taking our survey. Your survey has been submitted successfully. Below is your MTurk confirmation code: YKtzFLzrTrWpuIBnYEBq

I will gladly send you a screen shot of the page I was shown. I was hesitant to submit the HIT because the page seemed to be contradictory, so I left that tab open in case of a situation such as this.

If you're going to screen people out of being eligible to participate in your study, it would be a good idea to have a rejection screen that DOESN'T offer a confirmation code for mTurk.

I would greatly appreciate the reversal of my rejection as it negatively impacts my approval rating. Had there not been a confirmation code, I would've simply returned the survey."

They removed the star rating system for a much less nuanced thumbs up or down rating system. Because caveman too dumb dumb for nuanced opinion... either thing is good or thing is bad.
