I always put my kid in school. But throw up virus?

Honestly, that thing is evil. I am not sure. I think I'd keep him home, tbh. I don't know about it skipping two days. That never happened with us. But we did both get it.

Yes! I got it once and gave it to him and it was horrible. I was reading a doctor's blog about it skipping a few days.
I will probably keep him home. This stuff is too nasty to risk.

Does your school have a policy about it? I was the secretary at the local school for years and our school policy was for parents to keep them home for 24 hours after the last time they threw up. You could check with them to see if they have a policy in place for that.

My toddler is refusing to get out of his bed this morning. He just wants to lay there, babbling, and playing. I go up there and he says, "NO NO NO. I don't like daddy! Shoo! Go back to sleep!"

So I am sitting downstairs listening to him on the baby monitor and waiting for him to get hungry. He will...eventually.

Goodmorning everyone!

Mom advice needed. So my kid spent Friday throwing up. Saturday and Sunday he was fine and acting 100% normal. This morning at 1:30 AM he woke up throwing up again, but then he was normal and laughing and playing. I read that norovirus does that. Has one bad day then couple days great, then the kids throw up again. So question..should I take him to school today? My husband says i better because my son has missed a lot, but I don't want to chance other kids getting sick.

and..even if you aren't a mom advice needed LOL

Morning all! Took last week off due to moving to a new worksite and learning a new position. Kinda stinks; I had a good setup where I was able to Turk quite a bit at the old work site. Looks like I won't be able to Turk very much during the day, so gonna have to hit it hard in the AM and hope for the best in the PM after work. Anyway, hope everyone has a good week.
