for people who want to buy a house with mturk earnings - we don't have to prove income over a certain level for the previous 2 years from mturk earnings. we have to prove income is the AVERAGE of the last 2 years over a certain level. for example you can make $7,000 1 year followed by $25,000 the next year from mturk. add those together and divide by 2. that is $16,000 AVERAGE earnings for the last 2 years.

I had talked to several mortgage brokers a year and a half ago who gave me wrong info. they had told me the income had to be over $12000 per year or $9000 per year for the previous 2 years. I have talked to more mortgage brokers now. it's the AVERAGE that matters.
