If you recently immigrated to the US or even if you have lived in other countries most of your life, you have different cultural influences than....say,......me (who was born here and has lived here all of my life).

First Hubby was born outside of US, Persia, has had permanent residency and citizenship for many years now. Come to think of it the X was too, born in Canada and then naturalized when his parents moved here. Parents were originally from England.
