I talked about this yesterday on discord. Butttt yesterday I was backing out of the garage and hit my husband's truck. Busted the tail light, scratched my car, and popped the bumper out. Luckily my husband was able to pop the bumper back in. Only obvious sign of what I dumbly did was the tail light. I promised my husband I'd pay for it since I did it. So...gotta turk. Gonna do everything I can catch.

too bad it wasn't the headlight or something. I find taillights ripoff. Good news is that once you get the replacement assembly, you can install it yourself and save on the labor charges of having a mechanic or repair shop do it.

you could try the proper colored cellophane for the part you are repairing (red for brake, white for backup, yellow for turn, etc) but that will tear or fall off easily so it's just better to get an intact plastic assembly than to have to keep up with fixing the cellophanes.
