My instacart delivery took 6 days. I tipped well, he brought it to the wrong door - with bruised apples. And via Aldi, you couldn't order flour (just wasn't an option).

I think I'm going to go to the market myself this week. I wish I felt safe. I know that there was some research about people getting sick in a bus with another covid + person (recirculated air). This was studied in China.

You should be ok. The earlier you go, the less people. Most people here are wearing masks. I have my PAPER list (don't even pull out my phone) and don't linger. Take my own bags, fill them as I go. Although I do have to turn around and go the opposite way in the aisle sometimes because someone feels they need to hog the aisle. If it's too busy I leave or don't even go in. So far, so good. No casual shopping though.

I should comment that I get strange looks, when I wear my black ball cap and my face mask is black while carrying and filling my own bags. I feel like they think I'm shoplifting, until I hit the checkout. ?

ps: and trying to talk through the face mask is terrible, I talk so quietly anyway and they can't understand me at all. Currently creating a new sign language trying to express my needs. Lol.
