i did my first hit during the last week (May 2015) of the last office job i had (it was a seasonal job that dealt with graduation supplies for high schools so we were going to be off for the months of June-August) i thought mTurk was too good to be true tbh. didn't expect to do it fulltime for any length. the plan was just to see if I could make mTurk work until that August since I'd be back at that job. manager never called me. by then I was getting more comfortable with mTurk, but still was curious why I never heard back. she even had me lock the place up the last few days before we closed for the Summer since she had to do something with her daughter.

Finally email her and ask why she never called or emailed me (I already knew deep down it was because she found someone else but wanted to know why she didn't have the courtesy to at least tell me). She was always relatively nice to me while I was there. Then I got like the meanest response from her. She pointed out all the things I did wrong while I was there. I was so close to replying and being like "well fuck you!" but decided not to. And here I still am on mTurk (for now at least).
