I ventured into the outside world today. Before I left, I made a quickie home-made mask, and took a box of gloves with me. I had to pick up a prescription, but I prepaid and went through the drive thru, so no biggie. I felt brave, and prepared, and knew they sold headphones in the store (which I needed, after my sociopathic cat gnawed through once again) so I decided to actually go in. It felt surreal with everyone in masks, and it was hard to understand anyone's muffled speech. I quickly found and purchased the headphones, so my mission was accomplished, but I won't be doing that again. Way too much trouble remembering what I touched before I took off the gloves, and disinfecting my keys, purse, wallet, credit card, door handles, front door, bags, box, etc etc.
