I don't know if it was how I was raised or if I just became this way, but I could give a shit less about all these "help people in X country" or "Donate to save animals" campaigns.

Our country is screwed up enough that I feel we don't need to be rushing off to help everyone else.

And as for animals, yeah, I like cats and dogs, but when I saw a commercial and it said that "for eighty cents a day, you could save an animals life..." and the commercial after that said "for sixty cents a day you could help a person..." So, it costs more to help animals than people?

Meh, slow Saturday and all these donate to us studies are making me bitter...

Yeah, I know that the two playstation games that are currently going on in the flash sale that I really want are dirt cheap and they would help my mental stability, but I don't have the money for them and I don't see you stepping up to buy them for me.

I don't know anyone that works for free and expects to be able to feed themselves.
