I didn't know ducks were so brutal. I'm not as avid a birder but I do love watching them. This time of year is rough. It was always our busiest time of year when I did raptor rehab. So many orphaned or injured babies. Merlins are super cool, sometimes easy to mistake for a kestrel.

Yup. We pay $100 a month until they're paid off. They're not too bad to work with as long as you file your returns (even if you don't send a dime when you mail them - if you don't e-file) and make an effort.

We do too and owe like $800 this year. We're just gonna roll it into what we already owe. And I told my husband to start having $25 withheld each check. He has the least amount of taxes that can be withheld because "screw them, they're not getting my money and making interest on it and then giving it back to me at the end of the year like they're doing me a favor." :sigh

The joys of the tax man as well as most hospital collection agencies.. They will move heaven and earth to work out a payment plan you can actually do, because some money is better than no money, and they really, really like money.

I was told that you can't owe for the next year and continue to pay on a previous installment plan. That it voids the agreement because you're suppose to pay quarterly? I don't know. Taxes suck.
