This is my fault for buying refurbished stuff. My monitor's stand came with an embedded paperclip in it.

lol I just have bad experiences with them.
last year while taking the trash out the one that's always in my yard decided to just pop outta the trashcan while Im walking up to it. Then a few weeks later a possum was not so smart and got stuck in the trashcan. Had to turn it on the side & just walk away, hoping the possum would just crawl out & leave

The monitor has a few scratches on the bottom, where it's not visible during use, but the screen itself is pristine so I don't care. 80 bucks for a 23" IPS panel means I can't expect a like-new product. But an embedded paperclip? That's one embedded paperclip too many.
