That number is going to increase. A lot.I have 1,071 hits approved, less then 2 months working.

Yea so I mean it would be easy to get your numbers up to the 99% that is required on many batches.I have 1,071 hits approved, less then 2 months working.
LOL I have escaped a few few beheadings with nothing but a bruise luckily....for some reason my gut has always been spot on with this Turk thingI like to live dangerously.
always do the safe penny batches when you can, keep building your buffer no matter how many hits you have approved, even if it's a millionI have 1,071 hits approved, less then 2 months working.
I 'know' of someone who got a mass rejection early on and built her numbers up (I can't remember her name right now). But she used to tell the story of climbing back up to a decent approval rating. She really tanked, too (below 80%). She told the story a few times (kind of inspirational).I would not work on Mturk with an account under 99%, you (should) work in such a way that you would never risk putting yourself under that percentage.
Amazon will probably ban you if you get below 95. No mturk account with that low approval is worth using anyway.
closely managing the quality of the work you're getting from specific workers and managing their qual appropriately is how you will get the best data
got ya! what are the best batches?Yea so I mean it would be easy to get your numbers up to the 99% that is required on many batches.
Like that panda said, much easier to do it at 1k than 100k.
Could get yourself to 99% in a single day if the right batch dropped.
it's better to have a well known memberI don't know what I did, but I ended up on a page titled "Notable Members".

Despite our complaints, requesters are pretty forgiving when it comes to approving hits. It's not difficult to maintain 99% if you do halfway-decent work, so that's why it's kinda sketchy if your approval goes below that.OMG, 99% sounds like a serious number. I did not know. Thanks!

Yeah, you want to get to the point that if you see a really high paying batch but the requester is iffy you can say screw it and do 2000 of them cause it would only put you at 99% if they all rejectalways do the safe penny batches when you can, keep building your buffer no matter how many hits you have approved, even if it's a million
But make sure it's equal to or greater. Amazon, whilst it gives us the %age rate as 99.xx, for requesters, it's whole numbers. If you say greater than 99, then you will be limiting your pool of workers to people who have 100% approval rate and whilst they do exist, there aren't many of them. I think a lot of requesters use 95 or 98%.OMG, 99% sounds like a serious number. I did not know. Thanks!
It passes the time while we wait for the weekly earnings circle jerk.Ah yes, the weekly approval rating circle-jerk.
You're ability to refrain from writing out snarky remarks in paragraphs of less than 4 sentences amazes me.Ah yes, the weekly approval rating circle-jerk.
That changes from day to day, from hour to hour.got ya! what are the best batches?
Which comes right before the "goddamn Mondays suck" circle jerkIt passes the time while we wait for the weekly earnings circle jerk.
exactly... I haveYeah, you want to get to the point that if you see a really high paying batch but the requester is iffy you can say screw it and do 2000 of them cause it would only put you at 99% if they all reject
If I post 2k more hits, I will be on that list for messagesI don't know what I did, but I ended up on a page titled "Notable Members".

I see a lot from p9r, but I think he is full of bullshitThat changes from day to day, from hour to hour.
Rarely is anything consistent on here.
