It's not just mean, it's ignoring real world issues facing a generation that for the first time is making less than the generation before it and ridiculous housing costs in most parts of the country that make them unable to afford their own homes, along with shrinking full-time job potential.
It's not laziness screwing them over, it's a lack of real opportunities most likely coupled with a mountain of student debt.
And to be honest, this feels like punching downward at a lower tier group when most people wouldn't consider what we do to be a real job and view us with the same contempt.
