04/20 - Unusually Relaxed, Mellow, and Happy Friday!

Spoiled cats!!! Mine just plops herself on the very narrow space in front of the TV and proceeds to clean herself as if she has no clue we're watching those moving colors.

If she's not doing that, she's kicked the dog out of the dog's bed and is sleeping in that mighty comfy place.

I love cat rescue stories. I love that your cat was a total loudmouth!!

My current kitty was rescued from my garage. No clue how long she'd been trapped in there, I just opened the door one day and heard a noise and saw a movement that scared the living right out of me, then I realized it was a cat who was just as scared as I was.

She ran out, I saw she was scrawny so I put some food out for her (that I had leftover from our cat who had died a year before), she ate the food and she never left (she was a stray, I asked around a lot and posted on a neighborhood group. She wasn't chipped or fixed, so we kept her.) I named her Lotta because right when I was deciding if I could afford to keep her knowing she needed to be chipped, vaxxed, fixed, etc., I won $1K in the lottery so I figured it was meant to be.

Also need to add for anyone that doesn't know this part yet ... if I didn't find the 3 kittens I'm not sure I'd be sober today... they really were a major part of me sobering up because I needed to be smarter with my $ and not spend everything after bills on alcohol.

It varies, but usually, it does slow down on the weekends in general, in my experience at least.

Mturk is so unpredictable. That's one of the worst things about it to me. Generally, there is more work on weekdays, but there are good things that are posted during weekends sometimes.

My experience is that the best times for hits are US "working" hours. That said, I think maybe there are fewer mturkers on weekends too, so your chances of getting good hits may be better. I have seen good hits posted at every time of day, every day of the week.

weekends are usually a lot slower, but every once in awhile some RQ's drop nice big batches

The MTurk train slows on the weekends.

In my experience (almost 3 years) Tuesdays are the high day followed fairly closely by Thursday, then Wednesday. Mondays are a little bit better than Fridays, but not as good as the middle of the week. Saturdays are better than Sundays, but usually when I work of those days I'm distracted and sporadic.
It really depends, I've seen big batches drop at anytime, but if surveys and studies are your fav, then it's definitely slower on the weekends.
