if your just gaming and not rendering videos, get the i5 6500k instead and save some money on a better video card. Also to be able to do this on 4 monitors I got 2 GTX 980ti in sliNice. Which settings do you use for this? Because I had HS on one monitor and Fallout 4 on the other, but HS and TM would look frozen while I was playing the game.multiple monitors are great, I can be playing FO4 and watching HS as well as the forum at the same time
Just a guess, you might need it in borderless instead of fullscreen mode.Which settings do you use for this? Because I had HS on one monitor and Fallout 4 on the other, but HS and TM would look frozen while I was playing the game.
your video card is probably not strong enough, see my above post on how I'm able to do thisWhich settings do you use for this? Because I had HS on one monitor and Fallout 4 on the other, but HS and TM would look frozen while I was playing the game.
I do this too and windowed borderless is usually my preferred setting, but the game needs to be running in the monitor's native resolution in order for elements on the other screens to display properly.Which settings do you use for this? Did you do 350 yesterday? Because it kept throwing up false caps, you should have been able to get close to 500.I got capped at those fairly quickly today, after about 150.
Get an I5 for gaming.
Really....? Then why are all the Twitch streamers running i7's? If you're right, that's great news. Saves me $100 and lets me buy it this week.if your just gaming and not rendering videos, get the i5 6500k instead and save some money on a better video card. Yes, I believe I did, somewhere around there.Did you do 350 yesterday? Because it kept throwing up false caps, you should have been able to get close to 500.
They run I7's because it is better for encoding video and streaming, but for the individual who is just gaming, the I5 will provide the same experience for cheaperReally....? Catfish, you skimped $100 on the processor, but spent $1200 on 2 video cards? BTW, what do you play on 4 monitors?
Only play on the Dell 34" curvedReally....? Then why are all the Twitch streamers running i7's? If you're right, that's great news. Saves me $100 and lets me buy it this week.

I stream on an i5 just fine; they're streaming on i7's because they stream for $$ (i.e. it's their primary source of income and they may have sponsorship)Really....? Then why are all the Twitch streamers running i7's? If you're right, that's great news. Saves me $100 and lets me buy it this week.

I think an R9 380x should be able to pull it off considering these are 1080p monitors.your video card is probably not strong enough, see my above post on how I'm able to do this
Never said I use the i5 ( I do have one for the home media server). My motherboard allows for 4 sli slots but it cost over 300 bucks back when I bought it and requires a full tower case. All and all I think I probably got over 4 grand in this computer, not including the monitorsReally....? Then why are all the Twitch streamers running i7's? If you're right, that's great news. Thats actually a decent card, you will be fine running most games at high settingsSo I am wondering how much my video card will hold me back once I upgrade to an i5 and 16gb of RAM. I am currently running a Geforce GTX 950 2GB.
Good. Tired of dropping in the cities in H1Z1 and it getting all choppy. I think that's mostly because my lack of RAM though, only running 6gb of DDR 2 .Thats actually a decent card, you will be fine running most games at high settings
