last one of those i saw was when i was about 10 and my mom would get them shopping at Piggly Wiggly.

i recently picked up war ration stamps for the cool of it and i should pick up some s&h green stamps for the memories.

someone tell the govt they need to issue ration stamps for TP. that should stop the hoarding.

Today is a national holiday - it marks the first appearance of the Blues Brothers on SNL! I grew up in NYC and watched them do practice gigs at the Lone Star Cafe. A friend was in the band's horn section - he said one time being in the Blues Brothers, on SNL at 11:30 Sat. Night...you just knew you were in the hippest place on Earth.
