In case anyone was wondering there is a disease called pica where people do eat cement among other things such as drywall, glass or feces. Not that I would recommend it...

I don't know if it's because some planets are in alignment or not in alignment or what, but there has been a lot of it this week. When people are new and don't know all of our rules yet, I kinda get it and we educate people and that's fine, but when people have been around awhile and know better and still do it, it's super frustrating because it takes time away from us mods trying to work to stop and deal with it.

More of a condition than a disease... super common in pregnant women and people missing out on nutrients/vitamins. Said to be b/c the body is trying to get said components in you. (Dirt and chalk are hella common....)

I would dip my finger in dry laundry detergent when I was pregnant with my oldest. And Barkeeper's Friend was interesting to lick too.

I'd gross myself out craving/shoving into my mouth things I HATE.... like CocaCola, and tuna... but I can't remember any non-food things.

Forms of sodium I think. I ate a LOT of pickles. Like 10plus jars a week.
And I still love pickles, but not so much the cleaning products for my mouth, but they were slightly salty tasting.

Two credit unions and one bank. The bank is a mortgage thing, but the rest is for allocating funds for various things.
