Hello,
We are in the process of approving all HITs, including the previously rejected ones.
The decision to reject the HITs was based on the amount of time spent doing them. We consider that spending less than 3 seconds per HIT is not enough time to decide if a tweet is offensive.
The task was not only spotting offensive words, but to analyze the whole context given by the tweet text and image and decide if the tweet was offensive. That was clearly stated in the task description. However, given that we had not explained our rejection policy, we have decided to approve all HITs. In any case we won't use HITs done in less than 3 seconds in our experiments, because we consider that is not enough time to make a proper decision, so we assume the quality of those annotations is not good.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Looks like they changed their tune.
