I would be at my computer hours a day for a $50 daily goal. I am normally happy with my $10-$12 a day goal. It gives me enough at the end of the week to take the family out to Golden Coral for some supper.

Besides I'm generally good for about 5-6 surveys then after that.... I find myself browsing Netflix.

I miss eating out...with 7 people living in my house it's not an option any more.

Wow. Im happy with 25-30!
It took me a long time to get there if it makes you feel better. You really have to take advantage of all the knowledge that people who've been doing it longer post on boards like this one. Mturk has a pretty steep learning curve, especially if you don't have a ton of time to devote to it.

Nah, I don't get dressed up for it. I usually am a giant bundle of nerves because my friends are all betting money based on my opinion of the most difficult race to handicap all year and I just want it to be over with. I enjoy the Preakness and Belmont much more to be honest. I don't know how professional handicappers do it.

See, I'm a blue collar better, I take the "Big" races for what they are... SHOW.... I use to be VERY happy sitting at a plastic table at Calder betting on 2k claiming horses. Because, in my opinion, if you take a home track like say Calder, and learn the trainers, you can decipher what a change in length means, or a drop in class, etc. etc. It's hard to do with the Fancy Trainers like Baffert, Lukas, etc.

Im still trying to figure it all out. I suppose if I started doing batches, I could make a lot more.

Out of curiosity what kind of daily goals does everyone have?
I need to get more disciplined about it, but I aim for $10, $20 is better. Once I'm recovered I'm going to aim for $40/day during the week.

YES. Lower-level racing is SO much easier to handicap. My uncle races trotters and if you just bet the favorites all day you always leave with some extra money. However, I do like the amateur-hour days of betting (the Derby, Breeders Cup days) because you can get some amazing prices on really good horses that aren't getting hyped up by NBC announcers.
