To be honest, I think I just got lucky the 2nd time. The requester said in the test that something like only 50% were passing.

Its probably faint comfort, but that probably means people aren't doing other HITs.

Yeah I'm not like super upset or anything, just kind of a missed opportunity (and like you said, might make other stuff easier to catch).

My thoughts exactly. I logged in to post something similar. When people ask if A9 rejects, it’s always on batches like this.
