Ok... my brain power is questionable right now. I need some sleep... thank y'all for helping me shoot some numbers around and clear my head. I'm going to look at my budget and see what I can spare to help my aunt. This might be a good starter computer (aka birthday present) for my son next month. He's turning 6 and begs me for time on my computer. I'm going to be the coolest mommy ever!!! Lol Catch up with y'all more around lunch time, Hubby has morning shift... night night...

...I received a notification for an available survey on prolific.
it's a part two.
I figure, hey, If I'm able to see it, I must be eligible.
complete the task, where they say it's the same as 12 weeks ago.
I do not feel familiar with any of it.
I remember what my house looked like before I was able to walk, 34 years ago.
I remember almost every conversation I've ever had, so I try to avoid talking to people in the first place.
I remember everything.
..
but not this survey.
I go through my history... no other survey by that requester.


...tl:dr - I think I might get a rejection on prolific :rain:

I signed up for prolific yesterday, does it take a while to for them to validate your account? It keeps having me take the demonstration survey. Do they have pre-quals to take certain survey's like on mturk? (50 completed or 500 completed) I tried joining this study and it said it wasn't available to me.

I don't recall how long it takes to validate your account. I made mine a couple years ago and have only used it in down times until recently. Those demo surveys determine your eligibility for studies I believe. I don't think they use number of prior completions like mturk does. I honestly do not know a ton about it though so I could be wrong. Someone else here will probably be able to give you better answers. Sorry :/
