Yeah. I've heard that rumored a few times. There were also some warnings emails members on mtf received after doing barcodes one day. I don't know if it's really been verified though?

I think I recall seeing someone share one of those emails, but it seems like a lot of people just chose to believe it was a spoof email. It's a little weird (if true) that Amazon would be so set on doing QA on a particular batch like that

Given the amount of people that do those HITs + the volume of HITs they post, I feel like we'd see a lot more warnings and or suspensions if that were the case.

Imagine if mturk actually communicated with turkers about suspensions and other account issues so that we wouldn't be left guessing as to what's going on. I hope someone writes a fantasy novel about that because it's such a strange scenario
