(It was kind of old and I found a washer down there - from the disposal. And that center screw/nut came loose. I don't want to take it apart and try to figure out if I can fix it.

It came w/the house.....so close to 10 years of service - probably .

I got the new one off of amazon warehouse, so I didn't even pay all that much for it - I think 70.00?

I was behind some woman in Home Depot a couple of months ago and she was getting a quote for the installation of a new dishwasher and I was so close to interrupting and saying she could do it herself (I think they wanted 125.00? Plus removal of the old one).

I can't mess with soldering pipes, (I don't have those skills, or those tools)
so once it gets more advanced - beyond basic stuff - I'm beyond my skill set. But basic stuff I do my best.
