All the time. I've always assumed it's just because my name shows up first in the staff list.

The forum also sends out a welcome message when someone joins that includes all of the staff (except for @TSolo315 because he really dislikes meeting new people), so a lot of people will just ask questions there.

When you were not staff, I got a whooooole bunch of question PMs so the top of the list thingy is probably pretty legit reason.
