I do not like roses, too much work and money to cry over. Also its so wet and cool here in the summer they all get fungus issues.Fruit trees are like roses. As long as the plant is dormant. it can stand a great deal of cold. As soon as it starts leafing and budding out, it is highly susceptible to any cold. This is how I lost a garden full of fine old roses. A warm Feb. followed by a sharp cold spell in Mar. The plants were budding and that's all she wrote. This happened two years in a row. Dead garden.
Is there a secret handshake for this secret organization that you envision? I want to be in -the-know, too. You do realize that there are other forums, blogs, Facebook groups, not to mention that Reddit mess we always hear tell of. Everyone on the internet can know all about it in a flash of wi-fi streams. Besides, I have this crazy thought that the dispensing of knowledge was what the forum was for. Aren't we supposed to be a help group? Elitism is a dangerous thing. That is exactly what kills forums the fastest. Ever hear of TurkerNation?I know right? Imagine how much faster it'll go down next time now that you told everyone about it!
Thing with that particular batch , 80% of workers would just take a look at it and say screw it due to the lengthy instructionsI know right? Imagine how much faster it'll go down next time now that you told everyone about it!
There are roses for nearly every climate. They grow Rogosa roses in the Canadian cold, and huge David Austin bushes in Australia. Almost anywhere. You just have to pick carefully for your climate.I do not like roses, too much work and money to cry over. Also its so wet and cool here in the summer they all get fungus issues.
i like roses because its practically no work. In spring, i toss some iron-something pellets at the base of my 3 bushes. watering comes from spring and summer rains. roses in red and pink colors show up. clip and put in a vase inside. every 2 years or so, clip bushes back to keep them from getting unwieldy.I do not like roses, too much work and money to cry over. Me either.Wow I have not caught a single thing today...

Exactly. There are many batches that people go crazy over, that I will not touch...and I'm right surprisingly often....My opinion: too many risks is a good way to lose an account. And shaky batches produce the most risk the fastest. But it's all in what you want and want you believe you can lose and still survive....So I'm very much of the opinion that you all can keep your secret batches to yourselves. If I want them, I can find them myself....and please remember that I'm 73 and didn't learn to compute until a few years ago. If I can find it, anyone can.Thing with that particular batch , 80% of workers would just take a look at it and say screw it due to the lengthy instructions
Then I am jealous of your rose easy climate.i like roses because its practically no work. You want a difficult climate for so many plants, come to Texas. Whatever it is, you can kill it here....or, at least, I can. And have, sometimes several times. Then I am jealous of your rose easy climate.
