Yesterday the kid came home from school and said his Language Arts class was picked to do a "teen" survey. He said it was 160 questions and asked all sorts of things about sex, drugs, bullying, swearing, etc. At the end he said it had a question asking if the survey taker had answered everything honestly.
He thought that was ridiculous because if you lied on the survey, why wouldn't you lie on that question? (He also said some of the questions shocked the daylights out of him.)
My only question was, "Did you do it for free or earn extra credit for doing it?"
(I had one other thought when he told me it took almost the entire class period to do, 42 minutes "Damn, we need to work on that survey taking speed, kid.")
