Make sure any mic gain is off in the settings, move away from the keyboard, put the mic closer to your face and speak more softly, press the key less maniacally.

I figured it out Mute (button on my mic cord) right before hitting 1 and then unmute

I have been saying "california".

I'm also nervous about the 'click' that my (awesome, but super sensitive) mic pics up from either my mouse or keyboard (mechanical) ... thoughts?

I too said California; it just made more sense to me to say it that way. I haven't had any issues with my mouse click in the recording. I'm trying to work of the buzzing sound in the background of my mic, but I don't think it'll reduce at all. Unless I buy a new mic.

I think that's what was said last night, but had to return around 400 fake caps. I did almost 1300 last night and today have a hard cap message on every one.
