I'm going with the responsible route of not paying quarterly and then gambling on just paying whatever underpayment fee (if I get sent one) the IRS chooses to send me again for this next year

I think the most I've ever paid in fee is $50-60.

I don't know what you expect to owe in taxes, but the fee for that would be like 1% of one of your quarterly payments I think.

To jump in on this taxes questioning. I'm finding loads of information about what AGI is, but I cannot for the life of me find out how I'm allowed to calculate it. If anyone has a handy link that'd be cool. I've been scouring the IRS website for a while to try and find that handy little side note.
