OT... But I wanna ask this while most of the nerdy peeps are on

My husband has asked me to unlock his Kindle so that he can put the Google Play store on it and play Marvel Heros. It has been a long time since I've unlocked anything, and I've never done it to a Kindle. Any recommendations on a good site or Youtube video I can watch to help me do this for him?
