I think this happens to me at least once a year and 9/10 its from a skimmer (gas station card). Fraud protection doesn't hold me liable so I'm not out of pocket anything and just have to wait for a new card

NYC is full of them. I've had it happen three times in four years.

Makes me *kind of* glad to live in an area where nobody likes accepting cards.

Yeah, I am suspicious it was a gas station. I went to the gas station 2 days before the first charge.

I never use my debit card for anything in fear of this happening. The credit card is safer, I think, when fraud happens.

I do think it's not being grandfathered into the whole southern thing, given that we weren't even a state until 1907. We're definitely our own sort of weirdness mixed with southern, though.

Could be the cilantro. Around 10% of people say Cilantro tastes like soap

The smell of dirty dishwater. For me, it depends upon what it's in and how much is used. A tiny bit in salsa tastes ok, though I don't particularly care for it. Just the tiniest bit in something like, say, soup and it's yuck city!!!

Not fighting words to me, I like the midwest. I lived in Nebraska for 12 years. We're having the compound flown from Australia to Kansas City for the Google fiber, once @coffeeowl gathers her sisters and the guardians of Ga'Hoole and Archimedes and Mr. Owl from the Tootsie Pop commercial and Owl from Winnie the Pooh to go pick it up.

I could care either way about it normally. But when I make burritos at home it's a necessity.
I probably hate water chestnuts the way that 10% hates cilantro.
