I caught a hit and submitted it

the problem is... I was not near my computer (which was off) at the time it says I caught and submitted.
and I did not do the task, so I have no clue how it could have submitted.

strangest thing about it is that it was a Joe Lo, crypto.
you cannot submit them without selecting an option for each of the choices.

If it autocompletes with USA and not United States, is that wrong? In his feedback from the first qual he wrote "United States", but it's autocompleting as USA for me now. I'd hate to mess this up after all of this.
This was exactly my concern. It auto-completed "US" for the first round, and I was told the correct answer was "United States". Now it is auto-completing "USA"... so dare I replace it? Ultimately, like aveline @aveline said, though... he did ask for auto-completed and didn't give any direct instruction that overrides the US/USA part.

Are there any experienced VRAPI workers out there who could help explain the correct "autocompleted street address" formatting to me? I started typing and clicked the correct result (re: autocompleted?) in the first qual but was told it was just slightly incorrect. Am I safe if I just spell everything out and ignore the "autocompleted" word?
They don't want anything that doesn't auto-complete but it's possible that an address might auto-complete with more than one version, so make sure you're going through the whole list.

Can't give a time. It looked too familiar even though it's not in my database, so I returned it.

I'm really not sure. I don't think I've ever noticed how the country autocompletes for me, just that it's there. I don't remember what it was like when I did the qual and I can't seem to find a feedback email from back when I got it, so I can't even go off that. But even if I did find something, we're already getting into iffy territory with qual content. I still stand by what I said about subbing autocompleted anyway. If they have a problem with it, tell them you were just following their own directions.

I agree. I had someone else mention this error with this qual and it was definitely an auto-completed entry. I have never paid attention to the country, but I will going forward. I think maybe a new person was grading these? Not sure though.

Yeah, I've tried some dummy ones and can't find a "United States" result, either. I think Kallee @Kallee might be right in that the email was incorrect and they let a new kid use the computer when he shouldn't have. I'm sticking with the auto-completed entry as aveline @aveline suggested. Thanks for your help, everyone!

Seems broken for me. Got kicked out of negotiation twice. Emailed requester cause of short timer. Bummer.
