I just think it's silly to ask someone to do something with you when you really don't want them to. Like, I get it, politeness and all, but tbh I would rather just not be asked than to possibly end up in a situation where I'm left feeling like a third wheel or that my company isn't really wanted.

Idk, I'd be pretty annoying to watch. I'd go from overly enthusiastic and entirely too caffeinated to woe is me too often to be believable.
