How does it make ANY sense that in 2018 bank transfers are delayed because of weekend and holidays. It's all computers and automation. There is no guy working 9 to 5 physically transferring money from my paypal to my bank. Am I missing something?

I agree but banking and other financial institution are usually the last to change technology wise cause you are dealing with peoples money and people generally don't want that to get fucked up
